I can understand why a lot of people who try to do good get burned out. Like I did a walking stick giveaway to help people who need one. But I've received 20 times more complaints than thanks (I don't expect it, but it's nice). People need to be community minded & encourage good!
Something I'll be working on is building up my boundaries so I don't get burnt out. Also I will be updating my store policies and creating a giveaway rule document or page. Cause people really are being disrespectful and mean. Because they feel entitled to free things.
This is the exact reason I stopped doing giveaways. The majority of the winners were rude, demanding, etc meanwhile most actual paying customers are kind and considerate. Make it make sense 😭😭
