I'm northern - gaming, knitting and everyday stuff with cats and being an IT librarian. I'm fannish, but haven't written anything in years. I read SFF books.
- Went to HIIT and only remembered that I hadn’t had coffee on the way. Bought coffee at the store after, sipping while I got groceries. I don’t love it that I (many years ago) made the choice to start drinking coffee, because I have to keep it up or get a headache.
- Anyway, got Dreamies (Temptations) for the cats. They were sleeping when I got home, but Zevran made a sort of desperate noise when he smelled the treats in my hand and started rooting around for them, too eager to even look where they actually were.
- Cats are hilarious when they refuse to use their sight.
- Yearly evaluation was good. It’s nice to get the high achiever stamp.
- I was a bit confused when I saw the power outlet for my car and saw it was a normal plug 🔌 and not the kind electric cars use, but apparently it’s possible to have an outlet that can be used for normal engine heating and also electric cars.
- The car business is super nice and will send me two cables at no additional cost, one of each kind so I can also charge my car in normal car outlets.
- Ooo someone is sick! Hoping for a cancelled meeting tomorrow (I have six, so five would be better).
- Ended at five meetings, phew. The last three with Zevran hanging on my shoulder now and then.
- Welp! It's -24C and I have to get to the station, preferably by bike. Starting to approach the -29 I remember once as a kid, in Sundsvall.
- I made sausage stroganoff with pasta and I had a small piece of ginger left that I peeled and chopped to include. Great addition! Same niche as the mustard for this and I used both.
- Got my loan paperwork in the mail. I'll fill it in and mail it tomorrow - should get processed either before or just after the weekend.
- Phew, did my certification test (project management) and got 91% which is a comfortable pass. :)
- Definitely counting down until I can drive my car to HIIT instead of biking in this awful cold. Anyway. At HIIT.
- Today I’m going to Uppsala for that Afternoon Tea knitting event. I hope it’ll be fun!
- It was lovely. Loads of little sandwiches, scones and cake bites, nice company and knitting. :) I cast off a sleeve. Only one left!
