Emissions, fossils fuels & deforestation are symptoms - not causes like overpopulation, cows & cars. That we discuss symptoms only is a feature and not a bug.
Mitigation & adaptation are the same:
- Birth control
- Plant based
- Local
- Low tech
- In a way, I totally get it that we can't react to this at all. Our culture has not educated or prepared us to process what this is. We refuse to accept that everything we do now is #exponential: -90% good and +1% bad = exponentially worse
- There is no hiding on the Titanic. Unless we grow our own food in nature - we are living in a #bunker and we live a system based on #slavery and entitlement (racism / sexism / speciesism). No elite has ever survived a similar situation in the history of womankind.
