as usual I've been busy and only half dead, but I realised I actually hadn't even shared more info on the #LegacyRP characters here and people have been posting OC content, so let me be cringe on main for a second and talk about my special interest :) "What even is Star Trek Legacy" , a thread:

The #LegacyRP is a 14 year old roleplaying group started back on deviantart when the reboot movies were popular in 2011. Since then we created almost 8 seasons worth of script based rp and short stories 👏 (not to be confused with the potential new series that was mentioned a couple years ago)

It’s largely focused on the USS Legacy and it’s crew’s misadventures in a more destabilized and struggeling Federation. It’s captain, Webb, initially meant to get a young insubordinate mess of a crew back in line, ended up with the ship as a permanent post after a series of (un)fortunate events.

My main character is Lev, the ship’s CMO. I’d describe him as both smart and endearingly studid, with a good helping of anxiety, the social skills of a drywall and a coffee consumtion that he'd call healthy He started off as a background character and then gave me over a decade of Legacy brainrot.

We even have our own fan-made ship type that was created by my friend @douggawatts.bsky.social (who’s drawn just as much for this rp as I have, if not more). Credit to @chemb0t on Twitter for the amazing 3D render

The Legacy uniforms were designed in a way to be a plausible bridge from TOS/reboot to The Wrath of Khan Movie. (I occasionally mess with the design of the rank pips,belt buckle or additional details, but it usually stays pretty consistent)
