- a childhood friend showed me this probably like 7-8 years ago, and I still think about it now and then. really beautiful work.

- I dunno if you've ever read any of her fanfics, but they're like a (4,3) and some of them hit that same sweet spot for me of plot+worldbuilding->perfect expression of the theme. wld recommend

- omg scholomance is one of my favorite series! the way the worldbuilding is combined with the themes is so...good.... i wish it was more well known
- uprooted by naomi novik for (4,2)! the romance isn't till later in the book tho... also some may find the pairing questionable.. but its a really good fantasy book
