- q for anyone familiar with law school admissions: do admissions offices care whether a student has an A or A+ if they're both weighed as 4.0? at my university, there's no gpa difference but i recently learned that my students care bc they think law schools care (idk where they got this information)
- I so thoroughly tricked myself into getting something done in advance. A student asked for a rec letter. I put in my calendar that it's due today and set a two day reminder. Since Weds I've been like, I need to finish this by Friday. Now I'm revisiting the email, and it's not due til Sunday. PHEW

What Spanberger did do is rescind Glenn Youngkin’s order that required the state police + DOC to sign ICE contracts. She terminated the requirement, but not the contracts themselves.
- i had fsa money to spend by dec 31 and while i dont believe in scales, i got a fancy one that has lots of data points including body water, and now im in a constant battle with the scale not for reasons one might expect, but for it to stop telling me im dehydrated. i need to prove it wrong
