- Imagine the audacity, nay! the great hubris of having many workshops, and international conferences, as well as book releases (on one philosopher) And ... having the same 10 academics present and publish on everything!
- "Only those who can resign themselves to accepting the total annihilation of all objects of desire as well as subjectivity--only those whose desire is free of all desire--can face their own death with "naturalness," & be restored to life as one who has died to the world & to self." -- Tanabe Hajime

- Reposted by Christopher Satoorso pleased that *Romantic Empiricism* is now out in Paperback for a much more reasonable price! *And it is slightly revised - with some important additions of reference to works that appeared in the last few years* global.oup.com/academic/pro...
- I have met so many people in Academia, who refer to me as "friend" and who I thought were my friends. I went out of my way to help promote their work and share their ideas with the world only for those same "people" behind closed doors to say some very nasty things about me and even gossip to their
- colleagues. These opinions always make me doubt myself and feel discouraged and disappointed about the field I am in. But I am on my own path and I am not in competition with anyone. I read and write philosophy because it really is my life,
- and I have devoted all these years to the history of ideas because, I live and breathe in these concepts.
- One of the highlights of my academic career was when The Faculty of Graduate Studies at York University featured an expose on my YouTube Series: The Young Idealist Series. In July of 2025, FGS posted a short article in their monthly review of current student academic achievements. #TheYoungIdealist
- My series was brought to their attention by the Chair of the Department of Humanities; Dr. Victor Shea, who was impressed by my work & by the series. It was truly an honor to be featured in FGS' Monthly review & to have my series nominated for spotlight in July by Dr. Shea and FGS. #TheYoungIdealist
- Back to school for my students. I am teaching English, Language Arts, Modes of Reasoning, Critical Thinking, Canadian History, World History, and Literary analysis.
- "On the field of Śūnyatā, all things are in a process of becoming ... and each thing is itself in not being itself, and is not itself in being itself. Its being is illusion in its truth and truth in its illusion." --Nishitani Keiji, Religion and Nothingness, 1983.
- At the private school I work at, I have been teaching epic poetry; narrative, and the Heroes journey to my grade 9's and 10's. We started reading Beowulf and the kids are really loving the material!
- Sending out a big thank you to everyone that is subscribed to #TheYoungIdealist Series. The series has hit two milestones on YouTube & I couldn't have done it without all of your support. 8,000 subscribers & over 180,000 views. Thank you all, so much. www.youtube.com/@TheYoungIde...

- Reposted by Christopher SatoorOk fine. Sometimes the internet is still a wondrous place. Just found a full PDF of H.E.G. Paulus's unauthorized publication of Schelling's 1841-42 lectures on the Philosophy of Revelation. If you're interested in a copy hit me up. The file is huge but I'll do my best to get it to you.

- Never in my life have I been as unhappy as I am currently.
- It really is a shame to see so many Hegelians & Marxists continue to dismiss Schelling's philosophy through the same old hostile tropes. Most of these slanderous views were from Heinrich Heine, & Hegel himself, who quite honestly, never understood Schelling's systematic project.
- "But if the two principles are in discord, another spirit usurps the place where God should be, namely the reversed god." --F. W. J. Schelling, 1809 (Painting by Francisco de Goya - Ghostly vision, 1801).

- James Gutmann (the 1936 translator of the first edition of the Freedom Essay) called Schelling the Prince of Romanticism, If Schelling was the Prince of Romanticism then surely Novalis was the King of Romanticism, and Karoline von Günderrode, the Queen of Romanticism!

- "What is most profound in nature is also melancholy; for it too, mourns a lost good, & likewise, such an indestructible melancholy inheres in all forms of life." -- F.W.J. Schelling, (7,466), Stuttgarter Privatvorlesungen, 1810.

- My God! Interstellar is by far the best movie ever! It has speculative science, a giant black hole (Ungrund) that serves as the copula between reality & the Fifth dimension; Gravity, Light & an intergalactic battle of good & evil. Also a profound cosmic notion of "Love" that transcends space & time.
