- I received the most wonderful early birthday gift from my mother-in-law today. A fabric art piece of our beautiful boy, Cody who passed away in 2023. 🥹 It's the sweetest gift. She did such an incredible job. Look at his Whoville feet (that's what I always used to call them)! There were tears. ❤️

- During our "Finding Focus" WIP Roundtable Discussion yesterday, the struggle that is the news cycle and the feeling of needing to keep up with every horrifying detail came up. One solution discussed (that I absolutely love) is the idea of making it a 1x/week ritual via analog newspaper. 🗞️
- Ate a persimmon at Christmas time and thought I’d see if I could get one of the seeds started. Put it in a plastic bag w/damp paper towel in a dark cupboard. We have a sprout! Into the soil it goes. I realize they need both male and female trees to produce fruit. But I’ll see how this goes first!
- Ollie had his 3 month bloods check this morning. I asked for a nail trim while we were at it. He hates nail trims so, I gave them a big bag of kibble to keep his attention because he's VERY food motivated and it would help. They gave him the WHOLE bag! That's like 2 more meals. 😬 I hope he'll be OK.

- Watching Dispatches From Elsewhere on @jillianivey.bsky.social’s recommendation and it’s quickly turning into one of my all time favorite shows. The way I was ugly crying on episode 3. 😭 Not in a bad way, it’s just really perfect and beautiful. Ugh, I love it.

- Ah, the experience of a dog rushing you and your dog while you are out for a relaxing walk. Good times. Especially when the dog is focused on getting at your dog and you’re yelling “No!” repeatedly & sternly to hopefully stop them. I was thankfully able to scoop Ollie up eventually. He was scared.

- Love this question. 1. Made space for play. As a designer who's fought her entire career for artists' rights/respect, I finally hit the wall in 2025. My work suffered. As soon as I let go to explore, try new mediums, & get outside more, next steps materialized. 2. Deleted socials except Bluesky.
- I've attended WIP coworking sessions daily this week. It's helped w/my attention. With everything going on in the world, it's incredibly hard to... just do anything. Yesterday, I found my flow (it's been a WHILE) and designed some really fun ideas for a personal project's branding I'm working on.

- I’m at Ollie’s cardiology follow-up appointment. I do not like medical settings. 😬 But he’s a champ. Best behaved. Everyone loves him. Hoping for good/steady news which I think we’ll get since he’s responded SO well to his meds. 🤞
