Latest (slang) term I've found out by accident is uniquely Aussie... "On the turps" Meaning "to be drinking alcohol to excess" "Turps" comes from "turpentine" So it's like "on the sauce" And "by accident", I mean I casually used the saying in conversation and no-one understood me.
