- Congratulations to artist Tuan Andrew Nguyen, who was recently announced as the next High Line Plinth Commission. “The Light That Shines Through the Universe” is a 27-foot tall sculpture that pays tribute to the 6th century Bamiyan Buddhas of Afghanistan, which were destroyed by the Taliban in 2001.
