- hate that i get the feeling im going to be put through hell or worse before the people in my life decide to actively go out of their way to speak out about the atrocity facing trans folk in the US. i hate to be dramatic, but i just don't want our harm or death to be what it takes for them to act.
- and to be clear, "actively" means not only when it's relevant, convenient, or poses no personal risk. we are at risk for just existing. we need so much more amplification and standing up from our allies in the places it *really* matters, and that takes risk.
