Last night from NYC to LA, voters turned out for democracy & delivered a referendum against Trump & his fascist regime. Exactly a year from the day last November that we were expecting a blue wave, what we got was & is the powerful roar of a blue tsunami. This is what democracy looks like.
We were hugely optimistic about a blue wave leading our nation into the future when I painted this prior to the election. Optimism is still strong but as we now know, the stakes are higher. Bless us all.
