I think I’m going to pop up the road for a ride on the UK’s first fully battery-powered train. A repurposed old District Line Class 230 debuting today on the West Ealing to Greenford branch line. Just read about it in the excellent @londoncentric.media & was deeply troubled by my level of interest.
