- This morning I joined my 🔶️Liberal Democrats colleagues once again calling for a 5% VAT cut to save the hospitality sector, support our high streets, and help to lower costs for customers.
- On Wednesday I attended the parliamentary surgery by the RSPCA and other charities to hear about the impact of fireworks on pets, wildlife, and people with PTSD and other conditions, and I met this gorgeous pup 🐾
- It was brilliant to meet with Lisa Carroll, CEO of Lifespace Trust in Parliament, celebrating and championing inclusive and nurturing Education. I was able to tell Lisa how important the work of Lifespace is for children and young people, and the school community, in our constituency and beyond.
- Last week I met with the National Association for Special Educational Needs (nasen) the leading charity dedicated to promoting the education, training, advancement of individuals with SEND. nasen delivers advice, support and training for schools and education professionals. 🌐 nasen.org.uk
- I was delighted to attend the launch of the Shakespeare Curriculum created by the Royal Shakespeare Company and funded by Foyle Foundation. 🎭The Shakespeare Curriculum is the first teaching and learning platform dedicated to Shakespeare's plays for both teachers and students. A fantastic project.

- Last week I asked the Minister about how the government intends to tackle the fleecehold crisis, including uncapped service charges and lack of maintenance. I also asked that forthcoming reforms must be retrospective.👇
- 💚This week I attended Macmillan Coffee Morning in Parliament and spoke to nurses and healthcare professionals supporting people living with and affected by cancer. I could hear how parliamentarians can champion the 3.5 million people living with cancer in the UK.
- 🩷Proud to be 1 of the 428 MPs who support the Lobular Moon Shot Project, a campaign to resolve the inequalities of lobular breast cancer which 1000 people a day in the world are diagnosed with. This is vital so that we can get closer to a specific treatment for the disease.
- It was excellent to attend and speak at Freedom to Flourish event organised by Menopause Knowledge CIC on #WorldMenopauseDay. More needs to be done ✅️ To support women in the workplace ✅️ To raise awareness of women's health in education ✅️ To train GPs and other healthcare providers on Menopause.
