- Reminder that not only do library systems have physical media (& many also lend tools, electronics etc), your library card may give you access to streamers Kanopy and Hoopla. We just watched Francis Ford Coppola’s adaptation of The Rainmaker via a hoopla the other night. Pretty good!
- If you are looking for a way to help out, libraries are community centers, resource hubs, among other things; they do so much on many fronts. - Btw really wonderful book is Susan Orlean's The Library Book, which is a celebration of libraries, a deep dive into what libraries & librarians can do & want to do & how creative & necessary these wonderful people & places are. - You will have to pry the LA Library from my cold, dead hands. It is my favorite and will always be.
- Having read that Orlean book, I feel like the LA Library system is the greatest and will not hear otherwise!!
