I also think they're likely to lose a game v Ire/Scotland and have a tougher than expected trip to Rome. This is basically the same team Scotland & France should've beat at Twickers last season.

- Aye. Lawrence must be injured but I'd put Ojomoh at 12 long before I'd consider Dingwall. Atkinson at Gloucester is a better player as well. Freeman has the talent to become a good center. I question if this is the tournament to do it in.

- Never rated Dingwall, when Scotland tried to recruit him, I was hoping he said no. Hutchinson is a far better player and if he was English would have 30+ caps by now.
- They could probably do with a Cam Redpath type too.
- If Wales are to have any chance to compete, they need to attack that center pairing every time they have the ball. Freeman is still trying to work out positioning etc and I might be in the minority, but I think Dingwall is mediocre.
- I agree with you there. That centre partnership is weak.
- Edinburgh in terms of stats are closer to Zebre than Glasgow. Similar carries, similar kicks, similar metres made and tries scored . Only Zebres discipline lets them down more .
- A microcosm of coaching staff's ineptitude. Until Douglas went off, Leinster was having a devil of a time getting quick ball. It allowed Edinburgh to defend them with relative comfort. Off comes Douglas, ruck speed becomes rapid and as a result Ed thrust onto back foot. Result inevitable.
- I don't think losing Ben V helped either
- I don't blame Ross T for losing any games but his kicking is very poor at the moment and it's not helping.
