#introduction post I’m a former #geology professor in the US, now back home in Edinburgh, Scotland, working as a geospatial professional. Currently a Senior Mapping Scientist at Space Intelligence, leading a team making satellite data-based land cover and biomass maps in support of #nbs projects.

I’m a supporter of all things FOSS and loved participating in #MinCup and #30DayMapChallenge in the past. I only managed one entry this year though, but seems apt as an introduction - an animation of my time-averaged location over the years since first leaving Edinburgh.
