- The White House did not clarify in its post that the photo had been digitally altered. CNN's @ddale8.bsky.social confirmed that the WH altered the photo, and directed him to a post from a WH spokesperson reading: “Enforcement of the law will continue. The memes will continue.”
- So according to the **White House**, using an official information channel to publish, without disclosures, an altered image that depicts a different reality of an American citizen's arrest is..... a "meme"?
