- Happy release day to Jaclyn Rodriguez! Pick up A Vow in Vegeance today!! It is SO good. #BookSky
- 4⭐ I liked this Heirs of Organized book more than Weaponized. It takes the multiple mob families ties deeper. The series is interconnected so well. The “he falls first” nuggets also make it fun to watch Liam win Taryn over. Her independence is refreshing in an FMC. #BookSky
- J. Hunter Ackerman has a delectable voice that washes over you like butter when he is smiling or growling. 🥵 Thank you to Harlequin Audio for the ALC. @htpbooks @htp_hive
- Fuck ICE EVERY.DAMN.DAY.
- Experiencing fan events is one of my favorites. Watching the Stranger Things finale with mega fans was absolutely the best decision. Perfect ending. #StrangerThings
- It's the last holiday of 2025! Happy Stranger Things Day!

- Avatar: Fire and Ash was unnecessarily long and only progressed the story by introducing a new villain, giving Quarich feelings, and making Spider breathe. If you watched the trailer, you saw the whole movie. It was the same as The Way of Water but with the Ash tribe. #AvatarFireandAsh
- I’m so disappointed in the money grab filler movie.
- We can’t even track our books in peace without men sliding into our DMs or leaving creepy comments. 🫠

- Ew.
- The wife @megcooper.com is an AVID reader. She is constantly rotating between fantasy, sci-fi, and smut so dirty it would make a porn Star blush. Let me tell you I ALWAYS know when she’s reading the later.
- Are you complaining, sir?!
- My copy of The Book of Azrael arrived are the same time the graphic audio holds from Libby hit my account. It’s divine intervention. 🤩
- 3.5 ⭐ Free the Darkness is an epic fantasy that shows what an assassin would be like if he were raised without social cues or interactions, yet tasked with protecting his friends. It almost reads like a LitRPG without the call-outs to leveling up and achievements. 1/2 #Booksky
- I would gladly take a side quest with Rezkin, if for the sole purpose of seeing the endgame of his quest. Book 7, Ritual of Ruin, was just released, so I’m anxious to see where this series goes from here. Thank you Podium Entertainment for the audiobook.
- I’m so excited that one of my top Indie reads of the year, Kissed by the Gods by Caty Rogan, is getting traditionally published! I can’t wait to read the rest of The Eternal Wars series. #booksky
- MTG has resigned!!! Time for my blue dots to flood the polls in this special election 🗳️

- 3.5 ⭐️ Dawn of the Firebird is beautifully written, but there is so much world and culture building that it detracts from the story. Fans of The Poppy War will enjoy this one. I don't feel like I grasped the plot and stakes to care enough to be fully invested. #Booksky
- This is one of those series that I bet the second book will be amazing because we’ve moved past the heavy world-building and training arc. Sarah Slimani does an amazing job narrating the story. Thank you to Harlequin Audio for the ALC.
- We love an obsessed boy voiced by Teddy Hamilton. Honeymoon Phase is a sweet romance that gave me all the swoony yearning. Luke has been secretly in love with his best friend for a long time, and he isn’t going to let just anyone marry her so she can keep her lumberyard business…1/3 #booksky

- Slow burn for the FMC. Luke falls first.
- that has that stupid clause in the trust. While the description leans heavily into the lumberjack aspect, that was such a small part of the story. I love how their love unfolded and lies came to light. It was delightful to witness their deepening affection for each other. 2/3
- Thank you to Harlequin Audio for the ALC.
- Happy Samhaim (SOW-in)! Tonight, we say goodbye to harvest season and "summer's end" and the start of the darker half of the year (winter)! Most American Halloween traditions were inherited from Irish and Scottish immigrants.
- Enjoy this fantastic history lesson on the evolution of Halloween www.instagram.com/p/DQVQA2qAdqM/
- 4⭐This was a smutty good time. If you are a Lights Out and Caught Up fan but wanted less unaliving, you will eat this up. You have a cinnamon roll stalker, which I didn’t think was possible to have such a balance between a dark, squishy, obsessed man, but here we are. 1/2 #booksky
-
View full threadI just got the ALC for this one too and I cant decide if I should listen to it now or closer to Christmas 👀
- It wasn't really holiday-heavy and more like taking place during the holidays.
- This book reveal from Fierce Reads and Julie Murphy looks like a fun one. -Marriage of convenience 💍 -Only one bed 🛏️ -He falls first AND he's angsty about it 😍 -Inappropriate use of library stacks 📚 STUDENT UNION is out 5/5/25! #booksky
- The narration was good, however, Rock Engle doing a female voice became comical. Thank you to Harper Audio for the ALC
- 4.5⭐️ Kill the Beast is a fantastic story about healing, grief, forgiveness, and friendship. The FMC is a boastful menace at times, but her character growth is that much more special. The adventure to forge a weapon to avenge the death of her brother 1/3 #booksky
- gets a little more complicated when a rich dandy who loves fashion is forced to tag along with her. They hand witty banter together as they work together. I thought I knew where this story's plot twist was headed, but I was surprised when it took an unexpected turn. 2/3
- It makes the story even better. I really enjoyed Kill the Beast. Moira Quirk is my favorite UK narrator. Her ability to bring so many characters to life and set them apart so well is unmatched. Thank you to Macmillan Audio for the ALC. 3/3
- 5⭐ Red City is a dark and gritty Romeo and Juliet nod with transformation magic. We have multiple POVs, but it happens in a way that serves the story well. I love how the story starts in their childhood, so we can learn about their motivations and see their love for one another grow. 1/3 #booksky
- It sets a tone for the next part when they are adults within the crime syndicates. I enjoyed how this magic system was explained through lessons and lore. I also love how morally grey both main characters are. A fantastic read! 2/3
- This audiobook has a full cast that did an excellent job immersing me into the story. Thank you to Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for the ALC. 3/3
- 4.25⭐️ If Capital aristocrats carried out the Hunger Games, you would have the daily scene at Endlock, a prison that hosts The Hunt in To Cage a Wild Bird. This story is filled with action to keep readers fighting alongside the FMC for more. I love a good dystopian that sparks a rebellion. #booksky
- I think readers who enjoyed Silver Elite will enjoy this as well. It doesn’t have a magical element, but the romance subplot is similar. Thank you to Harper Audio and NetGalley for the ALC.
- I didn’t think books that had this much spice could also bring tears to my eyes with so much warmth. The slow burn yearning at the beginning gave way to scorching hot scenes. This was such an enjoyable read. I ended up switching to the audiobook after I saw a full cast of some of the top narrators.
- 4.5⭐️ An absolutely epic fantasy with toiling gods and mad humans. The Sleepless takes you on a quest with a child of the gods whose touch is poison and a sleepless with another soul who comes out when his body falls asleep. This was such a clever story that I devoured it in one sitting. 1/3
- Elver is scorned but has such a big heart for her fellow jih. Artair has lived a sheltered, caged life that he must leave to save those around him. And Lucian is filled with secrets. Narrated by Esme Lonsdale and Kobna Holdbrook-Smith, who does a fantastic job at setting both MMC 2/3
- characters apart to make them really feel so different. The story reminded me of Anji Kills a King in terms of an epic quest with young characters. Thank you to Macmillan Audio and NetGalley for the ALC. 3/3
- No one speak to me for the next 36 hours please. prhaudio came through today. #BookSky

- Congratulations!!! So happy for you.
- 4.75⭐️ Voidwalker is a love story between X-Men Nightcrawler and Blink, and you can’t convince me otherwise. I really enjoyed Voidwalker! It starts with strong action to capture your attention. There is a bit of a lull in the middle, but the ending brings it back around. #Booksky
- The slow burn between the main characters is glorious. I love the banter and wit. When he says her name, Fionamara, *swoon*. The Voidwalking is really interesting and I hope we get even more details in the next book. While I did receive an ARC, I purchased the audiobook & a book trophy!
- My August Reading Wrap Up is here. I read 27 books (18 ARCs & 9 TBR). I had lots of my Libby holds come in all at once. So I got to listen to lots of great reads on my TBR.
- The quickness in which I downloaded all these books. amzn.to/41u4nsM

- Yes, I’ve dreamt entire screenplays. I also get a lot of ideas and plot points in the shower.
- Do you keep a journal next to your bed to write them down so you don't forget them?
