Any ideas for short(ish) recent works of SFF that a) are not bummers and b) would teach well in highschool? I’ve been asked to give a talk to highschool teachers, the theme is ‘No Bummers’, and I’ve been thinking Becky Chambers (Monk and Robot, To Be Taught) and Martha Wells (Murderbot). What else?
