- Also a feature of an FPTP electoral system that encourages absolute fantasy land politics and venomous competition rather than policy development and discussion.
- I guarantee you that virtually all of that 81% would include a caveat that local objections in their particular locality should continue to be considered a veto.
- Seems notable that Trump posting straightforwardly and outrageously racist content on his personal website in the middle of the night is not something any of America's major media outlets seem worthy of coverage.

- I think this is also reflective of the broader structural failings of the US press in that it cannot identify a massive personal failing of a Republican president or leader without "balancing" it somehow. It's allowed Trump to adopt absolute gutter racism too
