- time to start asking every Democratic candidate for federal office, including incumbents, who they plan to support for caucus leadership. Jeffries and Schumer are disqualifying answers for my vote, and they should be for yours too!

- I intro’d an Abolish ICE resolution that I wrote on the fly because I was worried no one else had done one, and people were shouting “aye” before it stopped being read. unanimously passed. people are so, so, so, angry about all this.
- the one bit of pushback this received was from a neighbor who worried that it didn’t address CBP or other problematic agencies. we agreed that “Abolish DHS” would be a friendly amendment. it’s hard to overstate how far folks want to go here.
- I could have gotten a unanimous voice vote on this exact language tonight.
- line out of the building and into the parking lot at our caucus location. packed rooms. people sitting on the floor. all totally locked in and engaged. I have thoughts about the accessibility of caucuses but that was an overwhelmingly positive experience.
