- I went on a hunt for the new Piccadilly Line tube trains yesterday. I'd seen that they were testing them around Acton Town on Saturday, so headed over there to see if I could see one, and I struck the jackpot! There was one waiting in a siding, then another came round the corner into the platform!

Another Photographer grabbed it along with my phone and I was able to track him later. I was held face down tear gas deployed right in front of me and pepper sprayed directly into the eye.

- The idea that turning 40 must inherently change who you are is a lie sold by Big Age. Some people feel empowered by it, and I'm happy for them. I've always just felt like "me"whatever my age! (Sods law when I press send a magical transformation will happen and prove me wrong)

- Turns out the"Home Assistant Connect ZBT-2" can only do [Zigbee] or [Thread & Matter] not both. Despite saying it cuts clutter & works with "Zigbee, Matter or Thread devices". That's an XOR not an OR. It seems to install either Zigbee or Thread firmware, so you'll need 2 devices if you want both.

- In a month or so, I need to be in [near Düsseldorf] then two days later I need to be in [near Hartlepool] & York. Working out the travel logistics from London feels like I'm doing a travelling salesman style problem, because there's no obvious easy route, and train/plane/car are all valid options!
