- Our 90€ billion support package to Ukraine is about more than financial assistance. It reconfirms our commitment to build a stronger & more stable Ukraine. A Ukraine able to defend itself in the short term while preparing for its EU membership, recovery & long-term prosperity.
- Welcome Moldova and Ukraine to the EU roaming free area! As of today, you can ‘roam like at home’ because we are preparing a home for you in the European Union. The benefits of our Union bring Europeans across the continent closer together - also ahead of EU accession.
- Congratulations Spain and Portugal for 40 years of EU membership! Successfully transforming from nascent democracies into democratic powerhouses, you continue to inspire. With democracy again under attack, EU Enlargement strengthens democratic resilience across our continent.

- Last night, Russia killed 25 people in Ternopil. Just one night. Fifty missiles. Five hundred drones. This is the Ukrainian reality we should never forget. These are the strains under which the Ukrainian people reform & build their future in the European Union.
- When done right, a larger Union makes us more secure & prosperous. This requires: 🔹credibility of reforms in our candidate countries, 🔹safeguards for the integrity of our Union, 🔹moving beyond Enlargement. My speech at the Enlargement Forum: link.europa.eu/RHXgWw
- Opening the final of all 6 negotiating clusters with Albania, is a strong display of its commitment to its EU path. The coming year will be Albania's moment of truth to accelerate reforms. It will be Albania's chance to seize the momentum & make Albania's EU path irreversible.
- In Warsaw today to mobilise private investments at the Rebuild Ukraine conference. This requires a credible reform agenda & strong anti-corruption measures. With Ukraine, we are working hard to build the trust to progress decisively & prepare for a successful reconstruction.

- Gender equality and non-discrimination are an integral part of EU law. Aligning with it is part of the EU accession process. This is not a private demand of the Ambassador of the EU in Albania. Any attacks on him are unacceptable.
- As Tuzla continues to mourn the tragic fire in a nursing home that claimed 11 lives and left many more injured, my thoughts are with the victims and their loved ones. Grateful to the firefighters and medical staff who worked through the night to save lives.

- When factories of lies and disinformation thrive, the integrity of our information space is a matter of national security. Our democracies rest on independent media. We need stronger cooperation to fight back, and ensure free and reliable information for all.
- An excellent choice for the 2025 Sakharov Prize. Strong leaders do not fear independent journalists. When journalists are silenced, repression and corruption thrive. We need more independent voices like Andrzej Poczobut & Mzia Amaglobeli. They must be set free. Immediately.

- Starting this week, 🇲🇩 citizens and businesses will enjoy the same treatment as EU citizens when sending money or receiving payments from the EU. No more extra fees. Just one single Euro payment area. Congratulations to #SEPA membership.
- This weekend’s local elections in Georgia were held after months of increasing repression. Violence is not acceptable nor is disinformation about the EU’s role in 🇬🇪 & personal attacks against the 🇪🇺 Ambassador. Citizens’ rights to freedom of assembly & expression must be upheld.
