this is why i block strangers readily for doomerism. i come here exclusively to talk about fun things and commiserate with phone friends. i *will not* tolerate dooming or haughty cynicism. i refuse to let weird freaks (derogatory) encroach on my playground of weird freaks (complimentary).

i also reach a point where i can't talk about certain topics anymore so that whole concept gets muted. that tamps it down pretty well. but there are also people who i like a lot who i can't read right now bc it's horrors all the way down with them. it's not personal, it's survival.
