Maedrin has the ability of complex transfiguration/illusionary magic that she inherited from her father. She can turn objects into other objects (ex: peas into chocolate pudding, toys into real life animals, etc) and/or make things better (ex: make her bed more comfortable, food taste better, etc).
She has the ability to make things appear different than what they actually are (ex: she can give the illusion that the room around her is another location and make that illusion visible to anyone else also in that room.
She likes to do this particularly when being read to, to immerse herself and the other person into the story's location.
