- Reposted by MaalusContext: this speech is from SIR THOMAS MORE, a history written, as near as scholars can tell, in the early 1600s by 6 or 7 people including Dekker, Heywood, Chettle, Shakespeare, and Munday. It was never performed, because Jacobean England was a police state and it was banned by the censor.
- Sir Ian McKellen performing a monologue from Shakespeare’s Sir Thomas More on the Stephen Colbert show. Never have I heard this monologue performed with such a keen sense of prescience. Nor have I ever been in this exact historical moment.TY Sir Ian, for reaching us once again. #Pinks #ProudBlue

- Any artists on here with calendars available? I'm looking for the new year and I'd rather support independent artists than buy from Amazon or the big publishers. Hit me with recommendations or links! #art #BSNM #SupportArtists

- Reposted by MaalusI firmly believe we're going to survive this era -- broken, hobbled, with decades of rebuilding that will not be finished in my lifetime -- but we are going to survive and every asshole who collaborated in the effort to destroy this country will forever wear the stain of it.
- Great photos here. Really interesting to zoom in and see the details of these little fuzzy faces. Like little snippets of escaped time.

- It now reportedly costs over $1M to buy a 3-minute trailer at #TheGameAwards Many nominated studios only get offered two tickets to attend (via Kotaku)
- A little map fun - the request was for a clean, easily readable map that focused on a specific area of a fantasy realm. Done completely in Illustrator for that extra-crisp appearance. #FantasyMaps #Maps #RPG

- The first edition of this book is fascinating and informative so the second edition is sure to be as well. If you're interested in pigments and inks it's a worthy addition to your reference material.
