Only speaking personally, but today’s execution isn’t scaring me from protecting our neighbors, as some suggest is ICE’s goal. Nor am I angry with incandescent rage, in that I know such rage is unhelpful. Rather, I feel like it has forced me to truly accept that the same fate might befall me.
We all made this choice weeks ago, many rushed to the Renee Good scene, only to rush to another scene minutes away to fight 10-20 loaded up ICE trying to kidnap someone, and endless since.
When people hear someone is shot or just single vehicle sighted, it is only more people going TO the danger.
