he's still my fav secret boss (mantle being a close second) by far ,, smth abt the whole experience of ch1 feels so intense by the time ur fighting jevil its rly special
he's so interesting cuz when you initially meet him the Only conclusion you can really have is that he's just kinda batshit, his lack of relevance in ch2 and parallels to spamton reinforcing it, but then we learn he's like the Only dude who's actually kept a convo with the knight themself
so his whole deal is recontextualized and now it's like I think I *have* to believe him I think he knows exactly whats up re: the prophecy and must've learned he has No designated place in it all I can feel is happy for him
soo true it's really not unreasonable for him to have given up on any logical, meaningful world beyond his fucked up little cage because if he already knows the prophecy and the person bringing it about, he completely foreshadows ralsei's philosophy down the line
i rly hope his character history is fleshed out a little more down the line even if it's just some short blurbs about his interactions with the knight, he and ralsei r really the only two characters capable of giving that insight in a deeper way especially given how gerson is probably not returning
