- I can't sleep. I fly home tomorrow and then it's three days of trying to both prepare everything we need prepared before my mom's surgery, and somehow rest and recover from this trip at the same time. I think my brain is panicking at the thought of going back to real life, so it's trying to prolong
- One of my friends I thought I was fairly close to didn’t even respond to my message about my mom’s tumor and surgery and it’s been almost two weeks. I’m really hurt, honestly. And yet when I told two of my friends things are strained with right now, they both responded almost immediately.
- My mom is having brain surgery on Monday. Idk how much I’ll be around but I’m grateful for all the love and support y’all have shown me through this so far.

- This has been a weekend of queer joy so far. We’ve watched Heated Rivalry, and the queer webseries I worked on, and Schitt’s Creek. We’ve talked about queer ancestors and queer representation and how if my grandma was alive, my uncle thinks she’d be marching with PFLAG and sewing pride stuff for us.
- It’s been so good for me to spend so much quality time with my uncle. We just get each other. And we were the first two out queers in the family. There’s a bond there. I’m so excited for him to meet my queer mom tomorrow.
- Finally finished the last of @worddancer21.bsky.social’s Christmas presents and I’m so excited for her to see them and to post pictures bc I’m really pleased with how everything turned out.
- I’m so grateful for this community. Although I’ve taken what is probably a permanent step back from Taylor, I will never leave this space. The way I’ve watched y’all show up for so many people is incredible, including the way y’all have rallied around me with my unemployment and mom’s brain tumor.
- For the first time since I dyed my hair Halloween colors, I haven’t hated it? It’s faded a bit since I’ve been washing on hot and it just confirms my theory of why I didn’t like it initially. I felt like the orange and the green were too dark.

- We were so delayed that I managed to download The Great Divide before taking off and listened to exclusively this song on repeat my entire flight. It’s fine. I’m fine. We’re all fine.
- I made it! Just landed and now I have a 90 minute drive ahead of me. Luckily I’m not the one doing the driving.

- I’ve been on the plane for an hour and 45 minutes and we still haven’t taken off. It’s literally an hour long flight. In theory we should almost be to Vegas and yet we’re still on the runway in salt lake. My butt hurts. I hate frontier.
