- I’m not one to marathon television shows, but I sat down this weekend and watched #Smiley on Netflix. It captured the messy small world of gay communities and struggles with self confidence, relationships, and family dynamics so well. I hope to see more of these characters soon. 🙂

- Today I was gifted a copy of 49 Days by Agnes Lee from a friend. This was a balm for the soul I didn’t know I needed in this moment. I’ve been going through a lot of painful changes in my life, and it was a good reminder that love transcends our time together in this moment. ❤️ #BooksThatHeal
- I’m really struggling this week, and that’s okay. Being back to work is tough after break, but with everything going on in the world and my personal life, I just feel really down. And that’s okay. Things will get better.
- After being frustrated by messing up further in, I decided to just #knit several stockinette samples over this weekend until I really have it down. I had to remind myself: slow and steady is the way to learn! 🐢 Practice makes progress! 🧶 First one of the weekend isn’t too bad!

- I practiced knitting tonight but while listening to the audio book of House in the Cerulean Sea. I had some tension issues a few rows in, and then again a few rows later, but it’s better than my last attempt. After a few more rows I’ll share a picture. #PracticeMakesProgress
- I cannot express how much joy the BlueSky #Knitting community has brought me the past few days. I have never found such a supportive online community before. It’s just magical! 🧶
- Practiced a bit of knitting the last few days, but dropped some stitches and failed on fixing it. I’m struggling a bit more with the stockinette stitch than I expected, but I’m finding so much joy in learning! I just restarted, so my next attempt will be a little better! 🧶
- I started reading Sarah Greenman’s Creative Alchemy Cycle, hoping that it would help ground me and help me find the little joys in life. 🌱 The first practice the book introduces is journalling, and I love the approach Greenman suggests - here is my first entry. ✏️ 📔
