- There are some replies saying "campaigns do this because it works" — in the sense of bringing in donations — but is it really working if it's negatively polarizing hundreds or thousands of recipients against the Democratic party for every recipient who chips in $5?
- How do you stop the incessant political text messages? I never have donated by phone, never heard of many of the politicians and campaigns I get texts from, often several a day. I now report them as spam but that doesn't seem to help any more than texting stop.
