- So I've been working on this for several days and it's not everything I wanted it to be but I'm still very proud of it. These are my original characters in my story titled Echo Nox. Please love my babies. I hope to share them more often.

- Gale is actually much less frustrating in the books than the film, it has to be said. Coming from a person who has not ever liked Gale (and had previously only ever seen the films). I still don't like him, but I can at least sympathize with him as a character whereas before I just plain hated him.
- It truly doesn't help that the movie has erased all references/coding of Katniss and Gale being indigenous and that the film makes Gale extra whiny and unhelpful at the worst of times.
- I've been in this fandom long enough to know that when the LTD... enthusiasts are crying that it's been "solved" they are actually stuck in a time loop, doomed to relive the same delusion over and over again.

- I still genuinely can't believe some people call Rebirth padded because it has so many optional mini-games. That's not padding and you shouldn't be trusted with that word.

View full threadI don't know what it was about Rebirth specifically that people felt they had to do a 100% playthrough on their first go. No one ever does that, so what was up with the phenomenon there? It was so bizarre. You play to beat the main-quest on a first play and 100% runs for replays. Come on, guys.
- The thing about Rebirth is like... people just wanted something to be outraged by so they forced outrage at non-issues. And like, look, as someone who never wanted VII to be remade to begin with there's plenty to critique about it but the level of outrage at mini-games was actual loser behavior.
- Now, if you wanna complain about padding maybe we can talk Chapter 13, but the existence of mini-games that you absolutely DO NOT HAVE TO DO is not padding.
