- #OnThisDay 5th February 2022, me riding Minnie on a lovely hack in the winter misty lanes. She was such a love.
- When you yell at me online, this is who you’re being mean to:
- #OnThisDay 4th February 2024, Iris reticulata and snowdrops in my front garden.
- Today I’ve sown the first seeds of 2026! Hollyhocks, cosmos, phlox, verbena bon, Erigeron, alyssum and gypsophilla. My laundry room is now full of seed trays. Good job I’m the only person who ever goes in there.🤣🌹💐🌺🌷🥀
- #OnThisDay 3rd February 2023. My little Maggie dog. She always looks like she’s facing a firing squad in photos as she hates the camera.
- #OnThisDay 2nd February 2026 - today! I don’t have a photo from the past taken on 2nd February other than my electricity metre. So here is Aldo, balancing on the back of the sofa watching me prepare dinner. He’s so naughty.
- #OnThisDay 1st February 2024, blue sky, silver birches, dry bracken. Westacre Estate, Norfolk UK.
- May the life stirring beneath the soil and the returning light renew the spirit of your soul. Blessed Imbolc. 🔥
- I’m so pleased we had a nice day at last and I was able to get out in my garden today. I’m redoing my beds and can’t afford to buy plants so I’m growing from seed. I potted on some perennial seedlings in the greenhouse:
- #OnThisDay 31st January 2021, flowers from the garden: Yellow wintersweet, viburnum tinus and red dogwood stems. Watched over by my pair of moon gazing hares.

- #OnThisDay 30th January 2022 my gorgeous daughter, then 15, riding the lovely Minnie. Such a beautiful winter’s day.

- #OnThisDay 29th January, any year…I don’t seem to have taken any photos. So you are all spared the mundanity of my life today. 😆
- Reposted by Louise BroadThis isn't just an issue for Somerset. Huge swathes of England, including the Fens, Broads and Humberhead Levels, are already at or below sea level We're going to lose much of our best agricultural land, and millions of people will become climate refugees What's the plan?
- The Somerset Levels used to be under the sea, and with 2m of sea-level rise possible within 75 years, and several more metres rise thereafter, resettlement is the only long-term solution www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2026...
- What is this bright, shining thing in the sky?!
