- It sounded like Lego Smart Play would be fun to play with as a dev tool - Mindstorms but all in one small brick of built-in sensors that can network with each other - but it also seems the company will lock it down hard and use it mostly for branded products. Too bad.

I'd been asking my dad for a while for a "pretty" piece of scrap wood to replace it--I was imagining a piece of offcut from one of his beautiful handmade cutting boards. On Christmas morning, he told me he didn't have any pretty scraps lately, so he just... made this for me. Incredible! - Enjoying the official theme song of the Year of the Horse.
