- If you don't know Dan, he's the dev behind Luck Be a Landlord; the game that inspired me to make Balatro and influenced tons of other devs to expand on this genre he shaped His newest game Maze Mice just left early access! You should check it out! I'm going to be playing it all weekend
- I have 100% completed Balatro! Was a ton of fun to hunt for Completionist++. I play a few runs before bed and it's been a great part of my daily routine. I think it's also equipped me to better design the 1.1 update Pumped to do it all over again with the new content when it comes out!
- People and media often say Balatro was made by 'one guy'. I feel like that unfortunately may be stoking the flames of this David vs. Goliath narrative a tiny bit No it was not 'one guy', look at the dang in-game credits

- The honest reason I don't have microtransactions/season pass/ads/100 DLCs/etc in Balatro isn't just about the ethics of those practices but because when I play other games that have those things it makes me want to put my computer in the dishwasher and set it to pots & pans
- Pointless Balatro lore: When I started Balatro dev I was living in my hometown of Regina, Saskatchewan. I had a bus stop outside my apartment (similar to the one in this image) and I based the art of 'Ride the Bus' on that bus stop! Every time I see that joker it reminds me of my old apartment
