- 3/2 )) This is why my #StarTrek hashtag "#texturenottrivia": Gnash over an error all you want, but once on film the best course is to retcon or canon-smooth it. And create even more reality texture in the long run! Exceptions prove the rule. Been doing it ever since James R. Kirk. 😄🖖
- 1/2 We've had inconsistencies before. Often a factoid arises as a first take, later seen to be not the best choice and needs to be tweaked. Eventually the factoid gets used 50 times consistently, after 1 initial outlier. By then it is easy to retcon the outlier reason. .....
