The last time I read Summer in Orcus, I didn't know that Donkeyskin was the same person as Deerskin. I learned that because of @seananmcguire.bsky.social's thread about the novel Deerskin a few years ago. Knowing that now... that section is very, very different. @tkingfisher.com is a great writer.

By which I mean, she is extremely talented, and the implied backgrounds of Donkey/Bear/Boar-skin are clear once you know. I've still only met Ursula once and I need to rectify that.
