- This is a great question. I grew up in the early 2000’s. Even then, we still had some enjoyable Saturday morning program with Yu-Gi-Oh!, Pokemon and other Cartoon Network shows. It feels like that’s how a relic of the past television model.
- So when did the Saturday morning cartoon era end? I'm GenX so thru the 70's and 80's we had Saturday morning cartoons. We also had after school cartoons. WPIX in NYC ever had a video game that kids called in to play. (I LOVED the cartoon Battle of the Planets) When (and why) did all of this end?
