- One of things I love about slowly driving around Bosque del Apache is you never know what you'll see. I had to stop and take a few pics of this fuzzy guy (or gal) since they were kind enough to stand still for a moment.

- Twice since leaving Alaska in 2013 I've spotted a bear (not counting those in national parks) while out wandering and this is the closest I've gotten to getting a photo of one. Maybe had eyes on it for twenty seconds before it disappeared into the woods.
