It's just getting started!
- Impervious
- Sketchbook art of the monster Oil Drinker from Ultraman Taro, in progress. Years ago, I'd drawn and later sculpted Astromons, the monster that devoured him whole.
- SKREEEONK!
- Jajirampo the Nupeppo carrying Bertoldt and the Nudibranchs, conversing with Courtney . A mischievous Kasa-Obake has also joined them in the living, dreaming house in New Jersey.
- Snowed in here in NJ. Having lived in LA from '08 to '25, I'm having my 'be careful what you wish for moment', but it's quite beautiful outside. I drew my version of 'Freezing Monster' Guigass from Ultraman in my sketchbook a while back.
- A Nick Cave sketchbook drawing from 2020.
- The Suckophant from Yellow Submarine.
- Today we have even more snow, so I had to get one shot of Einstein outside. It really does look beautiful, particularly since I spent the last part of my life in LA.
- Reposted by komodathrax66One of the things about people showing up to protest for the first time, that many, many armchair theorists don't grasp, is the effect of seeing what happens with your own eyes, then seeing how media covers it, and what is said ABOUT YOU by media and political personalities/office holders.
- Some character designs from '23.
- Floor time for Mr. E! Note how he grabs the carrot with his little hand. He's the first guinea pig I've known who did that!
- At the FX shop, Amalgamated Dynamics Incorporated in 2013 with the Brain Bug from Starship Troopers looming in the background. It was there that I worked on designs and sculptures for the 2011 prequel to The Thing. Check out my latest post on my Patreon! patreon.com/PaulKomoda?fan_landing=true
- One of favorite musicians, Brian Lustmord and his wife Stacey looking through my sketchbook at my friend Stephanie Inagaki's birthday party in 2013. We wound up having quite a wonderful conversation all night. Check out his music to bask in dark, cosmic, yet visceral soundscapes! Photo by Stephanie
- This definitely falls under the category of required viewing.
- Agony Man artwork over the years. The first drawing is the one that started it all in 1987. I was reading a lot of William Burroughs, and listening to bands like Throbbing Gristle and SPK( Their album Leichenshrei is required listening. In the dark ), and in that melange, he coalesced.
- You're doing God's work.

- Yesterday I restored and made alterations on a sculpture of the Agony Man which I had abandoned in 2004. As an original character, this apparition has loomed largely in my head since 1987, and I'd done a number of depictions of him over the years. This will eventually find it's place and purpose.

- Happy Birthday to David Bowie! He truly was holding the fabric of reality together.
- Some bronze matcap Slurfies for your pleasure. For all my lofty ambitions, it all boils down to me making little rubber monsters
- Happy New Year!
- The follow-up to the last drawing with Courtney and Juniper meeting the Ultraman kaiju figures. Turned out that I really enjoyed drawing my toys and that I don't do it nearly enough. This and the previous are from 2015.
- Reposted by komodathrax66Never before seen footage‼️ Tornado genesis of the Clear Lake, South Dakota tornado earlier this year. @myradar.bsky.social #tornado #weather
- A very Happy NewYear to everyone from me and Mr. E!
- A conjoined neonate I sculpted yesterday to be used as a detail in a current project. It's based on a pickled punk I saw in a medical museum.
- Spines.....
- For fun and practice I started a portrait sculpture of the Millennium Godzilla based on Yuji Sakai's design maquette. I unintentionally got some Evangelion vibes through the random poly colors!
- I decided to make a model of the guinea pig Cthulhu this morning as Christmas tree ornament. For next year, clearly!
- Breaking in the new sketchbook ......
- It's the proper side of my life.
- Tonights personal victory was finally figuring out PolyPaint and getting it to do what I wanted. (I'm still very new to digital sculpting in general) I worked on the head of the Ultraman kaiju, Zaragas that I started earlier this year, and after some fumbling, I was not displeased.
- A mini bust of Tanino Liberatore's Ranxerox. 2011
