so does the iPhone not tell you if you're texting an email address or a phone number? I'm getting texts from my sister that are text file attachments to an email and of course god forbid you even suggest the iphone is the one being weird and dumb
You have to manually tell the Messages app to text an email address instead of a phone number. I’ve never seen that happen by accident. What I have seen is the Messages app switch the address it’s using. Have her check Settings/Apps/Messages/Send & Receive, uncheck any email addresses listed.
