- Respectfully, it feels like a huge bummer to announce #AGDQ is leaving pittsburgh while we’re all still here. :(
- I know that there is never a guarantee that an event will stay with a specific city. But they also never announce events an entire year away, let alone announce that an event is leaving a city while the former city’s audience is still in the room.
- I know I’m just extra sensitive to this, because, as a person with a small kid, I am mourning the fact that I will no longer be able to attend GDQ for at least the next couple yearsJan 11, 2026 08:12
- Now I feel extra guilty about not paying the money to bring my wife and therefore also be able to bring our son this year.
- I guess to be more constructive: @gamesdonequick.com : why couldn’t this announcement wait until the end of SGDQ like normal? I have never felt more deflated at the end of an event.
