Jesus, Allah, Buddha, why is Gmail giving me "Tab to improve, Esc to dismiss" AI prompts when I turned off all their awful "smart features" in Settings months ago? They are really trying to wear us down on this stuff. Anyone have ideas?
Jan 22, 2026 19:05Thanks to all responders! Looks like this was partially a skill issue... there are separate "Google Workspace" "smart" "features" to turn off.
And I forgot I was going to get 100 people telling me the real problem is using Google, why don't I just switch to Proton Mail and DuckDuckGo or whatever like they did. I admire you all!
