- X-Files: S1, E4. Conduit I thought this was a clever way of building up Mulder's backstory and explaining his motivations. I'm intrigued who told Ruby not to say anything. Gloriously 90s, I'm really enjoying this season so far.
- X-Files: S1, E3. Squeeze The first 'Monster of the Week' episode. The interactions between Mulder and Scully are really enjoyable with the odd bursts of humour. If Scully can accept Tooms' condition then isn't that an acceptance there's validity in the X-Files? 🤔

- Completed it, mate. My early morning PS5 session saw me complete Lego Batman 3: Beyond Gotham. Holy Bat-Gaming-Perfection! The urge to Platinum is strong. Cant wait for Legacy of the Dark Knight
- X-Files: S1, E2. Deep Throat The conspiracy theory deepens. The government are hardly subtle though. Why isn't Scully questioning that, and putting it in her report? 'Mr. Mulder, they've been here for a long, long time' A fantastic final line 😲
- X-Files: S1, E1. Pilot A pretty much perfect pilot episode that seemingly sets everything up for the coming season. Alien abduction, time slips, conspiracy theory and shady government departments. 24 episodes in this season 😲
- I'm not sure there was enough story in Batgirl: Year One to cover nine issues but the artwork and writing was engaging enough to keep me interested. A fun story overall, but Robin is excessively 'handsy' and deserved a swift kick to the cobblers.
- Tonight, I'll start a full X-Files watch and review. I think I've only ever seen upto Season 7, so I'm looking forward to finally watching them all. Maybe I'll finish in time for the Ryan Cooglar reboot. 😆

- Evil, Season 4 was enjoyable but one hell of a mess. It really suffered from building up a story that could never be concluded properly due to cancellation. Still, all four seasons were fun. I'd love to see it return.
- Health Update 03/02/26 Antibiotics are doing the business, with things showing slight improvements. Wounds are still 'very deep' sadly, so new compression techniques have been used to try and force healing. I really appreciate those that have asked how I'm doing.

- Kendall Reviews Fantasy Football League 2025/26. (Week 24 - Top 3)
- Mrs. K picked up some funky Lays flavours for me to try. I don't believe I've tried this brand before.

- I thought Robin: Year One was excellent. A surprisingly violent and occasionally sleazy read that ticked a lot of boxes for me. The League of Assassins intrigues me as does Two-Face. He is one nasty piece of work. The Wayne/Grayson/Pennyworth relationship works well.

- I really enjoyed Dark Victory. The story was engaging and featured a load of villains with plenty of action. My only issue was a whiff of convenient plotting, and that the Dick Grayson introduction felt shoehorned in.
- I'm currently doing a Batman readthrough, I thought I'd post my Top 5 order of preference for those titles I've finished. I'll probably do this each Friday. 1) The Long Halloween 2) Dark Victory 3) Prey 4) Snow 5) Batman & The Monster Men #KendallReviewsBatList
- How many fingers am I holding up? 😐
- I fancy listening to Enigma. I vividly remember buying the debut album, MCMXC a.D. from Our Price in Horsham back in 1990. I need a physical copy of the boxset '15 Years After', sadly it's very expensive second-hand. I cant believe it's a decade since The Fall of a Rebel Angel.
- The Kendall Reviews 'Pendergast' collection is coming along nicely. Several titles missing with some that appear to be OOP (unavailable via Amazon and my local bookstore couldn't order them in) I've started Pendergast: The Beginning and having a great time with it so far.
- Health Update 28/01/26 I need to continue with the antibiotics as one of the ulcers is pretty nasty. New area of concern hasn't broken down as yet. Other wounds look 'healthy' but are still 'very deep' Compression continues. I really appreciate those that have asked how I'm doing.
- Bar a few throwaway episodes, I thought Evil season 3 was excellent The main story arc is daft, yet ridiculously entertaining. I do find they drop elements for convenience & obvious questions aren't asked but I'm having a great time with it Things are set up nicely for season 4
- Skittery beasts in your peripheral are what I usually enjoy about Adam's horrors. Here, the horrors in Monumental are running at you, screaming, biting, craving your flesh. A solid addition to the Adam Nevill bibliography.

- Batman: Venom is bloody awful. A misogynistic anti-drugs tale that has Batman killing two innocents and getting addicted to an untested drug. It was all so out of character. There are sharks in this story, I was surprised Wayne didn't try and jump them. Art was nice. 😆
- I'm currently doing a Batman readthrough, I thought I'd post my order of preference for those titles I've finished. I'll probably do this each Friday. Prey Batman & The Monster Men Shaman Batman & The Mad Monk Year One Gotham The Man Who Laughs #KendallReviewsBatList
- Finished Evil Season 2. This series has really found its feet as the season progressed. It's excellent. Characters are developing nicely as is the main story arc but it does flirt with silliness and forgets major events for reasons I'm assuming will be explained in season 3.

- Having just finished Batman: Gothic, I think I need to embrace the comedic, silly and often convenient plotting elements of the format more. Not everything will be Nolan-esque.
- Health Update... I need to continue with the oral antibiotics. Wounds aren't as deep thankfully, but a new area of concern has appeared. They are unsure if this is a genuine deterioration or 'dressing rub'. This will be reassessed next week I really appreciate those that have asked how I'm doing.
- The last three nights I have woken up at 2:27am.
- I've been thinking about starting an Agent Pendergast read-through for ages. There's no better catalyst than a new book in the series from Douglas Preston & Lincoln Child, especially as this one takes you back to The Beginning. Are you ready to enter the darkness? @headofzeus.bsky.social
- I'm stunned at how expensive Lego is. 😲 I fancy building a few of the 'adult' Batman sets but the prices are genuinely eye-watering. Mrs. K is never going to agree to this extension of my current Batman-mania. 😆

- I'm six stories into my Batman readthrough. All of them have positives but I'm surprised the most recommended, Year One, didn't click with me Prey Batman & The Monster Men Shaman Batman & The Mad Monk Year One The Man Who Laughs Would you agree with this order of preference?

- If it hadn't of been for the gorgeous artwork this would've been a complete letdown. Maybe my expectations were too high. A story introducing the iconic Joker should be a real feast, shouldn't it?
- Easily my favourite Batman story so far. Dr. Strange is a wonderfully deranged villain and his attempt to unveil who Batman is, was a lot of fun. Yes, Night Scourge was a big silly but the fight scene panels were great as was the story in developing the Wayne/Gordon relationship
- Oh my word. Wonderful news. New David Barnett coming this October. @canelobooks.bsky.social 😍 #TwistedPike #WitheredHill
- I wonder if Clive Barker has a manuscript featuring the investigations of Anthony Virgil Gluck?
- @orbitbooks.bsky.social please ensure the artwork and font for the Twelve Months paperback release ties in with the previous releases. The Twelve Months hardback is out 21st January 2026. #DresdenFiles #JimButcher
- I'm now 8 episodes into Evil Season 2. I'm enjoying Kristen's development but do find the ambiguity odd. Major events are seemingly ignored (the darkness in S is for Silence) and people are acting oddly (why does noone question Sheryl? 😆). Still, I'm having a great time with it
- My youngest daughter took this tonight down in Falmouth.

- Batman & The Monster Men is possibly my favourite so far, although ideas weren't really fulfilled with Monster Wayne being a real disappointment. Loved Matt Wagner's artwork and for the most part, story. Ultimately, it was a vehicle to introduce Professor Strange.
- It’s a five minute walk from my house to the pub. It’s a 35 minute walk from the pub to my house. The difference is staggering.
