The woman exited her vehicle in a forested area and moved within close range of the resting predator. The leopard bit her face before being scared off by a ski instructor
- She was hospitalized with facial injuries and remains stable. Her helmet prevented more severe trauma. Snow leopard attacks on humans are extremely rare.
