akira may be the only good colourised manga out there because it was done by a professional who knew how to use the colours to build on and enhance a mood, and even then i'd say that at it's best it's still only on par with the original.
is there any way of reading jojo in black and white that *isn't* low quality fan scanlations from 15 years ago with like comic sans and shit. the coloured versions that everyone treats as standard just don't look good lmao.

still, the coloured version has a different mood from the stark monochrome. it's not a straight improvement
