- My 2x gt grandmother has 2 death certificates (?? insurance fraud). Until recently only one entry was on the official index as the 2nd was mistranscribed. - An occasional copy is one sent to GRO outside of the normal quarterly returns process and would usually indicate some sort of correction. Having a different reference number is unusual ... if you want to send me images of the 2 certs via chat I may be able to help further
- Yes, I'd vaguely heard of it. I think it refers to a correction or amendment
- @chalfontr.bsky.social will know but I also wonder if there was an error in place of registration? as in they registered it in the wrong district
