A new charter for the City of Cambridge is on the ballot, but is not getting much discussion.

It replaces narrow specific language requiring a City Council Rule (which exists but is not followed and may be suspended by supermajority vote anyhow) with broad high-level language.
I think it's mostly a wash as to which is better & this shouldn't sway your charter ballot q vote either way.
