- Tonight, our #DnD scenario involves two very large dragons, one white and one red. Both of them want to kill us. This feels like a Kobayashi Maru scenario. I have a plan... if we pull that off, we got this.

- This is honestly the first time I’ve seen a search engine move past the chatbot or 10 blue links. As I move to build my own hybrid Algo/AI search experience, this has been inspirational. I love this interface it’s probably one of the most thoughtful SERP designs I’ve seen
- 🤖 Yahoo! released Scout, its new AI search engine, a few days ago, and it has, hands down, the most “open web” friendly interface compared to ChatGPT or AI Mode… and honestly, the best interface overall 👇 www.linkedin.com/feed/update/...

- Morning workout: 7 sets of 3 back squats 5 sets of 15 American kettle bell swings 5 sets of 15 box jumps Set completely to the music of Brittney Spears I don’t think I deserved that much glitter & glamour in the morning.

- My 11 year old asked “how old do you have to be” and then quoted his extensive experience as an elementary school news broadcaster. He continued, “I’m really good at schoolwork & I can do 20hrs” I’m encouraging patience & middle school.
- For #dnd night, our DM (@ianlurie.bsky.social) ambushed us w/ a massive ice dragon, the 4 of us, ( @not-a-robot.com, @jamram33.bsky.social & @realicity.bsky.social & I struggle with this bestial monster. Then.. appearing above us, a flame licked dark orange-ish red dragon appears and ... cliffhanger

- I’m old enough to remember when carrying weapons to a protest was a symbol of freedom, resistance to tyranny, patriotism and sandwiches during the pandemic lockdown. This was 3 blocks from where I work.

- This kind of bullshit from our status-quo democrats is literally pushing me away from the party & considering other party or non-party options. I miss the Eisenhower GOP & the Dem leadership is too feckless & accommodating.

- Can I get a BS Check? I want to compare site-search CTR volatility over time - standard deviation seems like the right tool. ie: if CTRs wildly vary, the STDEV is closer to .50. If CTR appears to be stable, STDEV is closer to 1. I know just enough to get myself in trouble, would appreciate help

- Last month, my wife travelled in her Jeep about 1,000 miles from home to spend about a month in midwifery training. She’s a few weeks in & wont be back for a couple more, but so proud of her as she is serving communities who need midwives. Our 4 boys miss her, but we’re doing great.

- But please, prioritize data centers in our cities, divert water for them, put them into our schools, prevent regulation on them, have them decide critical decisions in infrastructure, national defense and healthcare. Calling it AI over LLM was a marketing, not a technological or philosophical choice
